Last week, the Minister of Education & co-chair MTF announced that the Singapore Government is planning to enter into Phase 3 in the coming weeks ahead. During the media announcement he has made emphasis on several areas that covers how the framework may take shape both socially & professionally.

Here are the few parts from the announcement excerpts;

Travels

Singapore could be opening up our borders for travel to safer countries, the list of countries that will fall into the list was not identified yet during the announcement. On February 25, 2020 an article was published in the Straits Times on the travel restrictions across the globe here.

Gatherings

The number of people for dining & visitation will be revised, but there wasn’t any specifics on the revision during the press announcement.

Events

Places of worship, weddings will be relaxed but to no concrete numbers, things taken into consideration for such events consist of

  1. Space Capacity
  2. Scheduled Timing

Work related events can resume subjected to safety measures, activities such as;

  1. Conferences
  2. Seminars
  3. Promotion ceremonies
  4. induction ceremonies
  5. Corporate retreats

Over the course of the next 2-3 weeks the details of Phase 3 will be revealed to the public gradually along with the changes that happens thereafter.
